A wedding gown begins with a conversation about you. From the silhouette and fabric to the balance of volume and embellishment, each decision is considered in relation to your style and celebration. Measurements and fittings shape a design that feels personal, with its production schedule agreed around the work involved.

Evening & Occasionwear

Evening gowns, engagement looks and after party pieces are developed around the character of the occasion. Explore expressive silhouettes, considered fabric choices and intricate surface details, from sculpted mini dresses to flowing evening designs. Each enquiry is assessed individually, whether it concerns a collection piece or a bespoke commission.

Stage & Performance

Couture for the stage is designed in dialogue with performance. Movement, lighting, silhouette and the artist’s visual identity inform the choice of materials and embellishment. Our stage archive includes designs worn by Seda Sayan, Safiye Soyman, Petek Dinçöz and Tuğba Özay. Each new project begins with its own creative brief.

The Atelier

Based in Nişantaşı, Istanbul, Selma Oruç Atelier brings together Selma Oruç’s craftsmanship and Aslı Şener’s contemporary creative direction. The house approaches couture as a dialogue between fabric, proportion and personal expression. Collection pieces and bespoke commissions share an attention to detail, with each request considered on its own terms.

The Bespoke Process

Share your occasion or performance date, preferred silhouettes and any visual references with the Atelier. We will discuss the design direction, materials, measurements and fitting requirements before confirming a working schedule. Pricing and lead times depend on the design, fabric and level of craftsmanship; each proposal is prepared for the individual project.

Visiting from Abroad

If you are travelling to Istanbul, contact us before arranging your visit and let us know your travel dates and the date of your event. We can then discuss appointment availability and the fitting schedule your chosen design may require. If you are enquiring from abroad, the Atelier will first assess what can be arranged for your specific request.
